Workplace River Safety

Popular for teachers, council staff and DOC.

If you have staff working in or around a river environment a river safety course is a valuable tool to ensure their safety.
Awastone offers a full day river safety seminar delivering a certificate of participation outlining points covered, points that will be adapted to suit the environment your staff are working in.
We start the process by identifying hazards encountered in your workplace and forming a program that manages the risks and provides skills required to perform a rescue in the workplace.
The course is run by qualified Skills Active assessors, raft guide and river rescue trainers and the information is delivered in a safe and fun  river environment.
