​Our riverside cafe and venue is set in a quiet and secluded location, just 1km off State Highway 1 in Mangaweka. The venue can be booked exclusively for your group, from 1 hour to multiple days. Our river based activities are all inclusive activities, with a range of river craft and adventure levels that ensure your whole group have fun, no matter what their adventurous inclination. A welcome break from the boardroom.

Meetings & Conferences

Awastones spectacular riverside cafe is a fantastic venue for your next meeting or conference.
Awastone's Riverside Cafe provides a meeting venue in a relaxed, beautiful and central location.
Awastone provides the basic tea and coffee, use of the 60" TV with HDMI cables available, wifi, tables and chairs set up to your preference and a wipe board.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea options available on request.

Schools

Mangaweka Adventure Company & Awastone has been providing activities for school groups for over 35 years.
Our products are a safe and fun way to explore the outdoor environment and promote team work, leadership and respect for the environment in a unique and safe way.

Our New Zealand School group trips and packages range in duration from one hour to four days, include rafting and kayaking and our in house Skills Active Assessor has the ability to sign off Unit Standards and the credentials and expertise to support NCEA programmes.

Our Signature Groups Package

Combine a one hour trip down the Rangitikei with a social dinner at our licensed riverside cafe.​

Rafts, kayaks and Scenic Drifts are all options on this all inclusive river trip, mix and match on the same trip!

For those who do not wish to partake on the water, short walks or even just relaxing on the patio are pleasant options.​

Make it a family affair, kids are welcome!

Meeting Times

To have a relaxed evening BBQ the ideal meeting time for this trip is 2pm.

What's Inlcuded?

Transport from the river back to Awastone, hot showers & changing rooms after the trip to freshen up, BBQ Lunch or Dinner, all river equipment for your safety and comfort and of course our friendly guides to take you through your journey.
