Mangaweka Adventure Co and the Rangitikei River provide the ultimate camping getaways, either overnight or up to 4 days. The four middle Gorges of the Rangitikei are a world away and some of the deepest in New Zealand, the best of them are only accessible by raft or kayak. Raft through majestic river gorges and camp deep in the heart of sandstone bedrock.

Heaps of fun Grade 2 rapids keep this safe adventure interesting and the choice of river craft makes it enjoyable for everyone.

Our guides prepare scrumptious riverside meals giving you plenty of time to relax, fish, swim or simply enjoy the campfire.

		Family / Fun   These trips are suitable for all family members and all levels of fitness and skill. Are ideally suited to large groups with a diverse range of ages and adventurous inclination.
		Explorer   For those who want to sit back and relax and take in the spectacular Rangitikei scenery. Our larger oar powered rafts ensure a safe and mellow journey.
		Thrillseeker   A reasonable level of fitness will be required and participants need to understand that the risks involved are greater than with many of our other products.
