The "Gorge" section of the Rangitikei River is the North Island’s premier Grade 5 Whitewater Rafting adventure. It combines rugged beauty with some of the country’s most exciting rapids. No experience is necessary, however, the minimum age is 13 years and a reasonable standard of fitness and keenness is required.

Departure time/s   8.30am daily during winter. 8.30am & 12.30pm daily during summer.

Fitness Level / Experience   No experience is necessary but a standard level of fitness and keenness is required.
