Mangaweka Adventure Company, originally Rangitikei River Adventures, started in 1981.
The family adventure business was the brain child of five Rangitikei farmers and was based near Vinegar Hill. Paul and Tricia Eames took over the company in 1999 and have continued the proud tradition of providing professional river guiding services on the Rangitikei River.
Based on State Highway One in Mangaweka underneath the famous DC-3 aeroplane, just 15 minutes south of Taihape.
The Mangaweka International Airport has great information on our river activities as well other activities and accommodation in the area. The cafe is now bigger with still the same yummy food & fresh coffee. Plus it acts as a booking office, general store and post office.
